My family and friends laugh at me because wherever I go these days I am never without snacks for all, paleo of course! With 3 growing cavekids, one of which grows more and more into a burly caveman by the day ;) Picture the scene ~ 14 years old, well over 6ft tall and size 13 feet… I caveKID you NOT!

Personally speaking, I have found that having a good assortment of healthy snacks in the pantry makes my paleo lifestyle that much easier. Over the past 24 weeks I have built up my favorites which have become a staple on a good “full pantry” day :)

I thought I would share these with you in the hope it will make your paleo life easier and a happier one too! Please remember to eat all these in moderation if you are seeking weightloss from your paleo lifestyle.

  • Lots of fresh fruit
  • Trader Joe’s unsweetened pure fruit leathers/bars
  • Raw almonds – Trader Joe’s or Costco
  • Raw walnuts - Trader Joe’s or Costco
  • Dried pineapple rings (unsweetened and unsulphered)
  • Trader Joe’s Raw Trail Mix snack bags
  • Cardamon Energy Balls
  • Dried Apple Rings (Unsweetened and unsulphered)
  • Flattened Banana (just banana)
  • Mini or regular sized Larabars – mini’s from Target (love the minis;)), regular from many places or in bulk at Costco
  • Trader Joe’s freeze dried mango (unsweetened)
  • Trader Joe’s freeze dried bananas (unsweetened)
  • Trader Joe’s pitted prunes (non-sorbate)
  • Black Mission figs – Costco
  • Dark Chockolate over 70% cacao (the higher the better and the less you’ll be able to eat ;) )
  • Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Hail Merry Coconut Macaroons – PCC’s raw section (my little cavekid especially loves the chocolate ones)
  • Coconut Secret Classic Coconut Bar – PCC
  • Coconut Secret Coconut Macaroon Bar – PCC
  • Trader Joe’s Buffalo Jerky (contains sugar)
  • Macadamias ~ LOVE these!!! ( but Trader Joe’s out of stock – sad face!)

My all-time favorite snack combo would have to be a chunk of your favorite dark chocolate and a black mission fig ALL IN AT THE SAME TIME! You have to try it… go on! you CAN fit it all in and believe me it is worth the effort. MMmmmmmmmmmmAhhhhhhhhh ~ SO GOOD :)

  1. OH I have a few faves!! Spaghetti Squash, Butternut Squash, Hard Boiled Eggs, Spinach and Tomato Paste, Shrimp, Scallops… YUM! I could go on and on! LOL!

  2. I’m gonna add bacon. :D I love it. But it doesn’t seem to be on this DARN 30 day plan. Hmmph.

  3. I visited Trader Joe’s to purchase the Buffalo Jerky, but I read the ingredients and noticed it contained wheat and soy… Does yours contain that as well?

      I only wish I had some on hand to check. I am going to be saddened if I have missed seeing wheat :-/ as my family have been enjoying buffalo jerky for a while now. Not so stressed about the soy but wheat – UGH! Thanks for the heads up Kristine, I will be sure to check the next time I am in TJs :)
      I will have to get myself a dehydrator and make my own!
