WEEK 20!
Wahooo! I have followed a clean (to my knowledge) paleo lifestyle for 20 weeks now! In that 20 weeks I have ate amazing food, lost 13 lbs, dropped 2+ dress sizes and gained healthier skin, stacks more energy and a true appreciation for health and nutrition. The main benefit would be the knowledge I have now of how my body works, how it is designed to work and what I need to do to make it work as an efficient fat burning machine. The other HUGE plus is that my family are benefiting too. Hubby is heading towards 30 lbs lost and is planning on a visit to his Doc. to get new blood work done to find out if indeed this paleo lifestyle is everything it’s cracked up to be. Emma, my eldest and her best friend Caroline (HI Caroline, I know you read the blog
) and Caroline’s family follow the paleo way too. My youngest is claiming that she wants to opt out of the grains and try eating our alternatives more regularly. I swear to you this lifestyle ROCKS! I know I may sound a little cuckoo but hey I challenge you to give it a go for 2 weeks or 30 days and I guarantee you ALL the successes I have had! You up for it?!!! Ok sermon over… sorry! All I know is that I have never felt so good and healthy in all my life. I have never been so slim and trim and lean in many MANY years, IF EVER if I’m truthful! I am weighing in at 146 lbs (10 ½ stone) and I’m 5′ 10″ tall. I am one happy lady
My weight loss has plateaued but I feel I’m still loosing mass as my clothes are still getting looser. I now know why this happens and how my body has become an efficient fat burner and uses what I eat to work in the way it is designed to. Anyway I’ll shut up now and you can make up your own mind
